The Ukrainian Dnipro will play against Sevilla in the final of the Europa League this year. The National Stadium in Warsaw will be the scene of the battle between these two teams and the match will be held on 27th May. The referee of the match will be Martin Atkinson from England.
The surprise of the tournament Dnipro has only two losses in the Ukraine championship so far in 2015. In the Europe League the Ukrainian team went through Olympiakos from Greece, Ajax from the Netherlands, Bruges from Belgium and the biggest surprise came with the win over the Italians of Napoli.
Sevilla had a bit harder road to the final. The Spanish team beat Borussia M’gladbah from Germany, Villarreal from Spain, Zenit from Russia and the Italian Fiorentina.
The ukrainians finished their season in their domestic championship on the third place behind champions from Dynamo Kiev and the second team from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Sevilla finished on the fifth place in Primera behind Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia.
The Dnipro’s captain Ruslan Rotan and the other stars of the team Yehven Konoplyanka, Nikola Kalinic, Roman Zozulya, Matthaus and Bruno Gama will lead Dnipro to their dream – the Cup of Europa League. Sevilla is expected to start in attack with Kevin Gameiro and Carlos Bacca. In the center will act Ever Banega, Jose Antonio Reyes, Aleyks Vidal and Stephan M’bia. Most probably we are going to see on the bench Iago Aspas and Vitolo, who both know how to score and can be very dangerous.
The team from Spain is chasing a fourth title in the Europa League and second in a row after in the last year they beat Benfica with penalties. Sevilla also won the title in 2006 and 2007’s.
The two teams have not met yet and the battle will be very interesting. Nobody expected Dnipro to reach the final, but with in a good style the Ukrainians deserved to reach the last step and try their best to overthrow the Spanish throne.
Sevilla is the favorite in this match, but it is going to be very difficult for them. Hoever, my prediction for this match is a victory for Sevilla and over 2.5 goals in the match.
Bet365 offers odds of 1.40 for Sevilla to win, 4.20 for a draw and 6.50 for Dnipro’s win. For over 2.5 goals in the match the odds is 2.00 and for under 2.5 goals is 1.70.
Prediction for the Europe League final is a win for Sevilla and and over 2.5 goals in the match.
